Love the idea of recreating 90s runway with items you can purchase today. And also support a Vienna travel log. Such a beautiful and vibrant city with so much to offer. Thanks for sharing your inspirations with us.
Love this edition, but I have to ask: where is that jacket from the first photo (you in the studio) from??? I'm guessing AM but wanted to ask you directly first!
FirstView was an obsession for me when I was in college in the late 90s and early 2000s (when I was a young professional)... I've talked about it to people endlessly for years -- was absolutely breathtaking to see the shows in photos without being able to attend them. (Who would even let me into one lol?) Thanks for reminding me of this incredible, first-of-its-kind site!
Need the Vienna guide. If it’s similar to your previous Paris one, will be smashing👍🏽.
If you do recreate a past look, could you give some info on what that designer nailed in that look? What they’re known for? When buying in present day, what are they excelling in?
I’m a scientist and have no experience in style/design except buying what I like. Would love to get more history on designers and I’m sure you have that knowledge overflowing😊
It’s interesting what you assume people know about your field that they are clueless on to a certain degree.
For instance, Chanel has a look that most could probably identify. I always think ladylike/feminine/french.
But when someone says- “ the Prada ss09 winter- will live inside my head forever- soo Miucca “. I don’t quite get it. Or your references to Marc Jacob. Hearing that voice inside your head explained in writing would be interesting to read.

Its from Barbour! I got it in Copehagen at an awesome store called Goods
Nice! It had Barbour vibes but wanted to confirm! You need to make an AM version.
Love this list, as always! Did you see the feature in Curbed this week about a cabin in the middle of St. Marks street? So. Cool. https://www.curbed.com/article/wood-cabin-st-marks-place-tour.html?utm_campaign=nym&utm_medium=s1&utm_source=insta
I love how unadulterated the online runway shows used to be! Less pop ups and ads, close ups of the accessories.
I love the idea of recreating the 90’s runway. One of the best fashion eras. Swoon.
Exactly! A thorough and pure presentation of all the shows
I loved vienna!!
A must read for small figurine lovers: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hare_with_Amber_Eyes
